ibaPDA system sometimes stops showing an "Acquisition stopped ... READ: Interruptbuffer overflow" error message. What is the cause for that?

The interrupt buffer overflows when the driver captures more data than the task can process (e.g. when storing or processing calculations).
By activating the "Restart acquisition on non-recoverable error" option in the ibaPDA I/O manager on the General tab you can initiate an automatic restart following this error.
Generally speaking ibaPDA is overburdened. You should reduce the number of signals or raise the acquisition time base.
If you are using ibaFOB-S or ibaFOB-X type cards you should replace them by ibaFOB-D type cards. Due to the DMA access ibaFOB-D type cards cause a much lower CPU load.
